Application Process
Is Cynthia’s Studio of Piano a Good Fit for You?
Cynthia’s Studio of Piano believes that everyone has the ability and talent to play the piano. The key ingredient to unlocking your potential is to dedicate time daily to develop your musicality. In order to develop a comprehensive understanding of music it is important to establish daily practice habits, cumulate a musical vocabulary of principles and concepts, and apply this knowledge to a broad-based wealth of keyboard literature. It is the goal of the instructor that the student be able to learn a piece of piano music without being completely dependent on the instructor.
Online Application and In-person Interview
If you are interested in taking lessons at Cynthia’s Studio of Piano, please fill out and submit the Student Application. When the application is received, I will contact you about scheduling an interview to discuss your goals, options and expectations of lessons. There may be a brief demonstration of playing during the interview if you have previously taken lessons in another studio. The goal of the demonstration is to assess musical reading skill, level of technical playing and approach to learning pieces.
